2021-2022 Anesthesiology Residency and Fellowship Matches

Published on Saturday, April 24, 2021

We are thrilled to have successfully matched eight incoming PGY-1 interns, two PGY-2/CA-1s, and fellows for the pediatric, pain, and cardiac fellowships. They will all be starting in our department in July!

For our residency program, our department had over nine hundred applicants for eight PGY-1 positions and two PGY-2 positions, and approximately one hundred of those applicants were interviewed. The fellowship programs also had robust interview seasons. Even though all interviews were conducted virtually, we were able to recruit top candidates from across the country and are very excited to welcome all our new residents and fellows into the department.

The incoming residency class comes from diverse and accomplished backgrounds and will no doubt contribute in many different ways to our department.
